Nov 14, 2021 · Oscar Avila, 28, was a guest at his parents' wedding when he was shot by Guillermo William Herrera, 19, who was among the uninvited guests. Herrera and three others were arrested for murder, riot, obstruction of justice and other charges.
Nov 20, 2021 · SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 )- Unified Police Department arrested a fourth suspect in connection with the murder of Oscar Avila on Nov. 6 during a wedding reception in Midvale. Police say 19-year-old Troy Latorio Kajiyama was with three other suspects when they crashed Avila’s parent’s wedding and started causing trouble for the people attending.
