Gu Zhutong (simplified Chinese: 顾祝同; traditional Chinese: 顧祝同; pinyin: Gù Zhùtòng or Wade-Giles Ku Chu-tung; 1893 – January 17, 1987), courtesy name Moshan (墨山), was a military general and administrator of the Republic of China.

顾祝同，字墨三，清 光绪 十八年十一月二十二日（1893年1月9日），生于江苏省 安东县 （今 涟水县） 石湖镇 四兴集。 此集旧称顾家庄，位于涟水城东约60里，为黄河改道留下的贫瘠黄沙地。 早年，顾家有田百余亩，但自祖父病逝后，祖母主持家政，丁男幼弱，劳力缺乏，家境渐趋清贫。 顾祝同为家中长孙，昆仲三人手足情笃，敬长执礼甚恭，待幼谦慎无争，颇得族人称道。 清光绪二十四年，顾祝同6岁，入塾馆受教，至13岁，七年的古书“古训”，对顾祝同思想、性格塑造，影响极深。 同窗会文，优于书法绘画，善工词赋。 1906年，15岁的顾祝同离家入新学。 1909年冬，升入县城高等小学，因成绩好，由县署择优保送其入南京陆军小学。 亲友虽有劝阻，但顾祝同向往投身军旅已久，故毅然辞别家人启程南京。
