Restart in normal (not safe mode) start mode. Reach the place to change startup modes by typing configsys in search or run and UST Boot tab. use Trahman812's solution, then play till the imp freezes, then boot in safe mode, play to the save point past the Carpe Refraction challenge. Then reboot in normal boot mode.

I have a problem with running the game (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) on Windows 10. It worked normally on Windows 7.
Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban stayed at 4k resolution even after set the graphics settings back to version again. I mean reinstalled the video drivers. But I rather want to know how I can set the resolution higher for Harry Potter and the order of the phenix.
LevelOfAnisotropy=1. DetailTexMipBias=0.800000. DefaultTexMipBias=-0.500000. UseNPatches=False. TesselationFactor=1.000000. CheckForOverflow=False. do everything according to this and it should work however at startup it may glitch a lot so hold alt and press tab to go o the desktop then go back on prisoner of azkaban and it should work fine.

Minimize the game and then launch Dxtory as administrator. Choose Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban from the profile. then go to the "Advanced" tab. Check "Limit video fps: 60". Now back to the game, load the game from the previous checkpoint, enter the chamber, the IMP should now throw candy bombs at you.
