Jordi Galí. Jordi Galí (born January 4, 1961) is a Spanish macroeconomist who is regarded as one of the main figures in New Keynesian macroeconomics today. He is a Senior Researcher at the Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional (CREI), a Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Research Professor at the Barcelona School of Economics.
Jordi Galí is a professor at UPF and BSE, and a senior researcher at CREI. He has published widely on macroeconomics and monetary theory, and has received several awards and grants for his research.

Jordi Galí earned his Ph.D. in Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1989. Currently he is Director and Senior Researcher at the Center for Research in International Economics (CREI), Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and Research Professor at the Barcelona GSE.
