The crew of a German submarine, U-153, abandon their ship after being depth-charged, despite their captain's orders to the contrary. The submarine is then captured with its codebook and log intact and is hastily renovated by the British Navy, which then mans it with a British crew and sends it out to rejoin the Nazi wolfpack.
