  1. Mar 23, 2024 · A subreddit dedicated to all those things in media and elsewhere that didn’t stand the test of time, at all. A Dan Schneider Nickelodeon show asking for feet pics back in 2013. They didn’t even TRY to hide it. Wait till you see all the foot fetish references in iCarly. Scarily a ton, and I do mean a ton .

  2. Stay away from Nickelodeon. We just came back from a week trip with a 10yr and a 3yr old. This resort it’s way too overpriced for the service and the food quality. All 4 of us were sick for 3 days. Husband and my 3yr old had to be taken to the hospital. Multiple times at the breakfast restaurant nobody would come to our table to offer coffee ...

  3. Nickelodeon as the channel is without a doubt heading for it's downfall simply because Cable is slowly dying. Nickelodeon the production studio will likely live on. They will continue to make shows for other streamers and for paramount+.

  4. Nickelodeon went from being the best kids network to worst kids network. Nickelodeon had their golden age in the 90s they had their great shows and their bad ones like Hey Dude even ( tho that came out in the 80s) then in the 2000s they had some hits but the channel kind of fell of a bit it wasnt until 2009 the network died due the logo ...

  5. It sucks for nickelodeon and nicktoons tho because both are indistinguishable at this point. tl;dr nicktoons, and by extension, teen nick, have basically no personality anymore, and nicktoons is essentially indistinguishable from the main channel. All television is like this now.

Most folks seem to say that the animated offerings with Nickelodeon in the 2000s was better than Cartoon Network, citing classics like Spongebob, Rugrats, The Fairy Odd Parents, etc.. which tended to have much more cultural staying power (at least in the U.S.) than Cartoon Network’s offerings.

  7. Jun 29, 2023 · 90s Nickelodeon was something special I don’t care if most of us are WAY beyond the target age group for current “Nickelodeon” and adults back then probably said the same thing about “back in my day it was SO much better …” 90s Nickelodeon was unique, fun, and messy. Even my parents laughed hysterically at some of the shows. And into like 2003-2004 it still had some elements of 90s ...

  8. I was born in 91, and I would say 2004 is when Nickelodeon went downhill, but it all depends on when you grew up. Early 2000s Nick still had good cartoons like Spongebob (first 3 seasons), Invader Zim, Fairly Oddparents, As Told By Ginger, and nicktoons left over from the 90s like Rugrats, Hey Arnold, CatDog, and Rocket Power.
