Jan 27, 2022 · I have had several contacts with both Qobuz and Bluesound over my issues. BT diagnostics tell me I have no problems with my broadband service and certainly I don't notice any other issues streaming netflix etc. Qobuz offered little advice other than to use their own app, which obviously is no help with a Bluesound player as the two are not compatible.
Aug 12, 2022 · Ive been using Tidal Master for years, but someone mentioned qobuz was better, on another forum Thanks I did a blind AB test with Tidal and Qobuz last month. In fact, I got my daughter involved as a second pair of ears. We identified Quboz over Tidal 8/10 times as the better sounding. Not scientific but wanted to share.

Mar 7, 2023 · I was testing Qobuz for the 1st time the other night but I kept going back and forwards between different Apps etc. and comparing to different music services I'd had a couple of beers (27 ) and it was late .... but I'm sure I could cast from the Qobuz App on a PC to Chromecast devices but today that option's not available / the devices not listed.
Apr 17, 2024 · If I'm using the Qobuz App on a PC, it shows the individual Chromecast devices but it doesn't show any Chromecast soeakergroups I've created. I tried it on my Mini iPad as well and initially it was the same but after a while it did show the groups, they also show up in Tidal and Amazon Music so it is specific to Qobuz.
Dec 28, 2020 · Qobuz, by contrast, presents both classical and pop music in a clear way - perhaps generally Qobuz favours albums over "tracks", which suits the way I listen (and anybody who wants to listen to classical). New releases are easy to browse on Qobuz, distinguished (fairly successfully) by genre. I have never had any complaints about the sound, and its HiRes subscription seems excellent value to me.
Jan 3, 2021 · Qobuz does not work in Wasapi or ASIO mode (no surprise), but does in Direct Sound. However, using latter means the stream is resampled to the windows default rate, so unless you reset this to 192k then everything is downsampled. I'm using a desktop PC running windows 10 with an AudioQuest Dragonfly Red DAC, I have Qubuz set to 24bit-96kHz and 'Wasapi exclusive made' selected. May 13, 2020 · After trialling Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon and Deezer I’ve signed up with Qobuz for a year. On my equipment (my components cost £100s rather than £1000s) they all sounded better than my Apple Music benchmark but the high res of Qobuz on my Mac with Meridian DAC and B&W headphones is the best sound quality I’ve ever heard and their HR catalogue is huge.
Sep 30, 2020 · Qobuz support have resolved this for me. They asked me to clear the app's cache. I did this, extended the available cache to 40gb and the problem seems to be resolved. I don't know if it was a local capacity issue or if there was a faulty cached version of some tracks, but it's fixed and I'm not seeing the problem recur.
