Jul 16, 2020 · Terminator Genisys is the Terminator movie I always wanted to see. It's a fresh new reboot to a franchise long thought dead, paying homage to the first 2 movies in a way I see fit. We obviously don't need a remake, but Genisys is the movie the franchise needed. If I were to make a Terminator movie, it would be very similar to Genisys and only differ on minor details.

Seriously, i've just watched it, it's fun, it has a decent story, I like the way the alternate timeline was handled and I genuinely had fun watching it. I don't understand why it gets treated as if after the credits finish the director wipes shit over the lens, writes 'Fin' with it then rolls the end credits.
Jun 2, 2024 · The concept of Genisys in the movie is really stupid and it’s impossible to give a shit about. The effects in this movie also often look like shit. The only good things I can say about this movie is Arnold has some funny parts, the CGI of the Terminators look fantastic, and certain battles in the movie are really good. Other than that the movie is shit. 2/10
Jul 2, 2015 · In Terminator 1&2 it was implied mankind won the war, and that sending the Terminators back in time was a last desperate attempt by Skynet to win the war. When Kyle Reese and the T-800 succeeded at protecting Sarah and Young John, Skynet failed and was destroyed.
Without having seen Dark Fate I can comfortably say Genisys is the worst Terminator movie, because there is absolutely no way DF can be worse. It’s simply impossible. This is not a Terminator film, but an absolute mockery of the original and a disgrace to the series overall. 1/10. Do better.
