Mar 27, 2023 · Cars 2 convinced me there is at least a devil. So the intro of Cars 2 is a Cars-themed spy thriller on an oil rig. Legit thought it was a pre-movie short Pixar used to be famous for. Until it shows a murdered crumpled agent Car, a chase scene with blow torch weapons trying to kill the agent, and thug cars plunging to their deaths.
Feb 3, 2021 · Cars 2 is a good movie if it releases as it’s own movie separate from the cars movies. It has nothing really to do with racing and isn’t a great part of the trilogy. Like for example the toy story series was all a culmination and story of toys and specifically woody’s story as a parent of taking care of Andy and Bonnie.

Jun 25, 2023 · Cars 2 featured multiple huge, unique, brightly lit cities with race tracks that weaved in unique patterns, so the settings were nicer to look at. Cars 1's plot was about an arrogant city boy being humbled by small town folk, a story we've seen plenty of times before.

You'll notice that something doesn't belong. The movie brought no plot points over from the first movie, and nothing from is was carried over to Cars 3.

Jun 29, 2017 · The only thing connecting Cars 2 as canon is Lightning's headlights. like quite literally his headlights.in Cars 1, the start of Cars 2 and the flashback in Cars 3 (back when Hudson was still alive. except for cars 2), the headlights are stickers so they move with his mouth. so. McQueen has no headlights. this is true throughout the entirety of Cars 1
Also, later that day I watched Cars 3. Again, just at the textual level (with the weird dreams and crash scenes) Cars 2 is still just a more tense watch. Even comparing it to Cars 1 (another film I watched recently), while Cars 1 has more action filled, "scary" scenes, the atmosphere of uncertainty is very similar.
