You haven't selected your postage option in the "Services" drop down. ie if the $10 postage charge is for Australian Post Small satchel/box then you need to select this. If you also want to add an express post option you can select an additional service also.

But at the top where you get Messages, Account, etc., Site Preference is in a drop-down page under Account. I guess it is 'improved'! Dec 13, 2016 · I wonder if ebay Australia have a contingency plan for when Amazon comes online into Australia. Maybe it will beneifit the seller with more free listings and or lower rates. I already sell a bit through various FB sites and save heaps on fees. I will be looking into a website as well for next year....

Jul 2, 2018 · My recent overseas item browsing show many items now attract huge import tax fees. This even applies to second hand clothes (jeans /jacket) coming from the US. A secondhand jacket listed at US$23 attracts a $9.22 import tax levy. Thats ridiculous!

It seemed like a good idea to sell with included postage and ebay plus gives free returns which in theory could increase sales as buyers have more confidence that they can return an item that doesn't fit.
Sep 1, 2018 · GST charges for Australia ought to be 10% upon purchase price. But recently have noticed the final invoice coming up with something like 20% purchase price and labelled "import duty" i.e GST. Isn't this illegal on ebay's part?
Feb 21, 2014 · This isn't legitimate trading practices in Australia so why is it allowed on Australia's Ebay. It appears certain Chinese sellers are thumbing their collective noses at buyers and doing whatever they wish. I certainly wouldn't buy from such a dealer just on principle.
