3. 3 Sherman's. Only one Firefly. (Fury) One "original" 75 mm M3. (The "short" barrel) The other one seems to be the 76mm gun without muzzle brake which was not very accurate. Yes, it's a movie so it's not totally historically accurate but this part was more real then you think. The tiger was scary in its time.
Fury is two thirds of a great movie. The first two acts are amazing, doing a really good job of capturing what it is like inside a crew. Oct 19, 2014 · Fury was an M1A3E8 or "Easy Eight" Sherman with a 76mm high velocity gun. Firing HVAP ammunition, Fury could actually have penetrated the frontal armor of the Tiger quite easily at the range the combat took place (< 1000 yards). A couple of other Shermans in Fury's platoon in that scene were also E8's and scored several direct hits on the Tiger ...
Jul 15, 2023 · Fury (2014) was the most surprising film I've seen this year. Review. I watched "Fury" (2014) last night, and I was really surprised at how great it was. It was incredibly suspenseful, well-acted, had interesting direction, and was an overall intense experience. However, my biggest surprise was who directed and wrote it - David Ayer.
Fury doesn't. I walked out of that movie feeling much different than the rest of those movies. No patriotism, no romanticism, and no heroism, just war. This scene takes all that away pretty bluntly. It's uncomfortable, it's gross, and it takes any notions of good guys vs bad guys and throws it out the window. These are real men that have been exposed to the worst humanity has to offer, and ...
Jan 25, 2015 · There are some minor implausibilities, like a Tiger operating completely alone in the middle of nowhere (at least it was a very authentic Tiger, SPR!), and a hefty helping of dramatically convenient circumstances, but these things tend to make the movie work better as a movie, and I think it's just a very good dramatic film overall. Great performances, great script and characters.
Dec 11, 2017 · Help me understand where the apartment scene in Fury (2014) fits in. Because honestly it feels incongruous as hell. It just feels a bit off until the rest of the crew barges in and then it just makes no sense. It paints Collier as being unable/unwilling to control their behavior which doesn't really fit from a personality or a military standpoint.

Apr 16, 2016 · Fury was completely fictional, so there is no actual crossroad in Germany where this specific tank was disabled. From the googling I did, it has references to the battle of Crailsheim , but bears more resemblance the battle of Reseiniai where one tank held back an advancing force at a crossroad until in ran out of ammunition.
