Incorporated on 9 April 2012, JPDC is a federal government agency under the Malaysian Prime Minister's Office by virtue of being a wholly owned subsidiary of Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC). JPDC will undertake the role to steer and provide development directions for the downstream oil & gas sectors in Johor, Malaysia.
The Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC) is one big step in creating value to the downstream oil and gas value chain in Johor. Sited in Pengerang, it is one of the largest pieces of investments in the Pengerang district and located on a single plot measuring about 20,000 acres.
