I have a 2021 Lexus ux, my windshield was cracked so I went to dealership to replace the windshield (my insurance offer me to go glass shop but I do not wanted to aftermarket windshield so I denied) I just got back my car and the windshield is not Lexus OEM one.
Dec 31, 2021 · I actually don't mind the "L E X U S" spelled out on the tailgate. It's not excessively large (unlike the badging on the Mini Countryman and Nissan Panthfinder) and doesn't draw too much attention to itself. IMHO the Lexus logo is a bit too similar to the Hyundai logo, at least from a distance.
May 21, 2024 · Brother this logo is so uncreative. Looks like some college freshman 'designed' that shit. The F sport logo we have now is clean (especially full F) and has the corners of the Fuji Speedway track in it. The current logo at least has some thought put into it. What you see above is an L and F merged together, that's it. Lmfao.
Nov 24, 2022 · OEM, lots of gold badged lexus' and toyotas straight out of factories were sold here in asia. Gold badged land cruisers are common in middle east. OEM but gold badges (even in the rear) are somewhat more sought-after than the silver. the gold badges are an OEM option from factory - was an additional $400 i believe.

Nov 23, 2015 · scion and nissan did that probably because of lack of brand recognition. The Nissan name was as known as Fuji Heavy Industries is when it replaced Datsun. Hence, putting their name on the badge made sense for increase brand awareness. Scion faced a similar issue when introduced in the 2000s by Toyota.

Story about F meaning flagship comes from Lexus LS400 which was developed with a code name F1 (flagship one) This is an F btw, not F-Sport. F-Sport is a trim package, F is a performance division. That poor Lexus must be owned by faze clan.
