Trying any other template does not work either. I have the same problem with Excel Online and PowerPoint Online. I can't even go to OneNote Online. Instead I get the following error: The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.

Mar 20, 2019 · Sign out of your MS Office and close all MS Office products. Right click on any MS Office product icon say Word > Run as administrator > Sign in now. This should remove the problem. Do let me know if you require any further help on this. Will be glad to help you.

When I open a Word or Excel file from my desktop it still opens it in the desktop application, but I would like it to automatically open in the online version. I have Window 11 Home version.
