Jan 29, 2021 · Installing Nvidia Drivers through GeForce Experience vs manually. I hear a lot of people say it's better to install nvidia drivers manually, but I never understood why. A lot of people say they don't like GeForce experience just because it's unnecessary, however there are some features of it that I like, such as shadowplay, ansel, fps meter, etc.
Dec 8, 2016 · Restart in safe mode and run DDU "clean and restart" option. Once booted back into Windows normal mode, run the Nvidia driver installer. Do a "custom install", and deselect all the crap you don't want (for me, I only leave the physx and display driver selected). Also select the "clean install" option. That's all.

Even once you get it working it takes 2-4 times longer doing each of those things than a standalone! Go to C:\WindowsYou should see 2 folders named "NVIDIA" and "NVIDIA Corporation". Copy/Paste them into your desired drive. I pasted them under the Program Files folder myself so maybe also do that.

Jun 19, 2019 · In the window that pops up will be a Display Adapters entry. Press arrow to enter the device settings and right click the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 device option. From the pop up menu select update drivers (make sure you are connected to the internet !) You will then get the latest drivers from the Microsoft repository.
