Sep 16, 2023 · Just watched ready or not for the first time, i have some questions, personally i enjoy it for the most part, but there were somethings i thought was just not for me, especially the ending. 1.Daniel is such an interesting character: (1) i believed he was the first one to find Grace during the hide and seek , he gave him a ten seconds headstart.
Oct 4, 2020 · Ready or Not (2019) Caught it for the first time tonight. Not scary or suspenseful but a lot of good laughs and a ton of Gore. Samara Weaving (related to Hugo) did an amazing job and had some ridiculous screams. I thought Adam Brody was great too, his apathetic low shoulder thing is a really great way to offset the beat in campy horror movies.

Charade (1963) And fun fact - the movie itself is public domain, however the soundtrack is not! We actually had to do some clever editing to add in something non-copyrighted behind the dialogue.
Mar 29, 2024 · Oh, no, I meant those films as examples of going all-in on particular aspects of the first film rather than just doing the same thing again, changing up the genre a bit: in the case of Ready or Not that would be the supernatural being known to be real from the beginning in any sequel.

The story was unique and the plot is enjoyable and whimsical at times, but Samara Weaving is what makes the movie work. I really enjoyed her in The Babysitter too - a comedic, cultish like slasher. Definitely worth a watch! I hope she continues to make horror films because she's a bright spot in the industry and just straight up beautiful, similiar to Alexandra Daddario.
