SONY PS-6750. A direct-drive player system that employs a magnedisk servo. A magne-disk servo is used for the detection part of the servo motor. An 8-element multi-gap head (MGH) is used to detect the average value of 512 detection signals, which are magnetized over a wide range around the periphery of the turntable.
Sony PS-6750. by Garnetnw. For me at any rate, this is a better deck than the 8750 as it is a manual and not a lot of electro/mechanical to go wrong. As an example of how well thought out these decks were, the headshell makes cartridge and arm set up a simple job.
Sony PS-6750 one of Sony's top turntables in excellent condion having been restored by Muse Audio. All capacitors replaced and tuned to original specs. The deck itself is in exceptional shape with the normal very light scratches on the cover.
