  1. Oct 2, 2021 · I usually recommend Intuos S as a beginner tablet, that was before Wacom One came out as the more budget-friendly option. And I still do. The price difference isn’t much but having those small little features like express keys makes your workflow a bit easier. If you can shell out the bit extra, get the intuos. Otherwise, having a drawing ...

  2. Apr 13, 2021 · I spent hours trying to fix my Wacom One tablet which had the exact same problem. It would randomly stop working, and start working again no matter what I did with drivers and resetting services etc. It seems that the problem was the terrible Wacom One X cable. The display works because the HDMI cable works fine, but the USB part of the cable ...

  3. Mar 26, 2022 · The iPad is technically superior but the big difference is the iPad has more and better drawing apps like Procreate and Concepts plus the iPad enhanced Adobe apps. There’s really no equivalent mac or pc app for the Wacom. I don’t mind the 11” vs 27” because that’s the size I like to sketch anyway.

  4. Apr 11, 2021 · The PW517 pen based Huion tablets actually perform the same as the Cintiq (s) I had. Cost. Mostly summed up as "they're cheaper than Wacom" due to Wacom (overall) being an industry-standard manufacturer and thus charges an industry-standard price. But you get what you pay for.

  5. They aren’t worth it anymore. Unjustifiably expensive compared to Surface or iPad Pro w/ Pencil alternatives. It would be one thing if Wacom lowered their prices/increased their specs to stay competitive, but they’re more interested in maintaining their pseudo-monopoly on designers with Adobe than fair market values.

  6. Oct 16, 2020 · The Intuos M does have the extra benefit of wireless bluetooth connectivity and maybe being able to program the express keys to perform certain functions in whatever program you are using. In terms of durability, not sure one will last longer than the other if looked after. Always helpful to check out some reviews though.

  7. Apr 19, 2021 · I have both the CTL 4100 and CTL 472. I highly recommend that you get the 472 aka the wacom one. It is same as 480 but it has no hardware smoothing, and the 4100 does have smoothing if you hover. The hover distance on 4100 is also smaller so you can dc easily as compared the 472. Save your self the money and headache, get the 472.

  8. Oct 23, 2021 · Which pens are compatible with the Intuos Pro PTH-451 tablet? I lost my pen and none of the ones I'm finding online specifically state that they're compatible with the PTH-451 tablet. Does this mean I can just buy any pen that is made for the Intuos Pro range? Thanks in advance. KP-501E should work on most pro tablets during Intuos 4 era.

  9. May 11, 2021 · The Deco has twice the pressure levels, I think too, a common difference between a lot of XP-Pen's current products and Wacom's more budget minded ones. The concensus I got from watching reviews from professional artists is that they didn't really notice the difference beween 4096 levels and 8192, though. Personally I'd probably go with the XP ...

  10. I noticed Wacom is selling used Intuos Pro Mediums for around $150 USD and was thinking of picking one up, but am unsure about a few things. Mostly about the drawing experience (if the drawing area is super slippery) and pen quality, but I'm also concerned if the drawing area (8.5" x 5.8") is too small or if you get used to it over time ...
