Open Microsoft Store then Click 3 dots. Select Download and Updates. Update WhatsApp or click Update all. **Reinstall WhatsApp app. Press Start then search Apps and Features. Find WhatsApp in the list. Click it then select Uninstall. Download and install WhatsApp from the link below.
Jun 1, 2019 · Pressing the button takes you to the store, where it tells you that WhatsApp is already installed and offers the option to 'Launch', and round it goes again. I've tried updating via the 'Downloads and updates' link in the store, but that tells me that everything is up to date. I've tried removing and reinstalling the app, with the same result.

Jun 1, 2019 · If you fix your phone screen, uninstall WhatsApp from windows store. Go to WhatsApp website and install from there, this will fix the desktop version. But you will obviously need your phone screen working first, as you will need to re-scan. Otherwise you will have to wait for a fix on the Windows store. Sorry can't be of any more help.
