Dec 13, 2022 · At 106k, my 2010 Camry developed a bad vibration around 30-45 mph, especially before and after a gear change. This 6-speed unit stayed around in many Toyotas until maybe 2017, not positive on the date. Looking online, there are a lot of reports of this issue, and replacement of torque converter is expensive. Seems worst around 2012-14.
Feb 3, 2024 · I recently bought a used 2012 Toyota Camry and the front bumper is loose/falling off on the passenger side. The plastic screw holes by the front wheel are broken and it looks like the plastic part on the bumper is a bit busted up. I'm wondering if there are some cheapish/easyish ways to fix this on my own. Tabs are broken on the bumper cover.
Jun 15, 2022 · 150k for a Camry is NOT high mileage. I think you’re making a wise purchase. If there’s evidence that the previous owner (s) changed the oil regularly, you’ll likely be all good for another 100k before anything bigger might start to need getting replaced. It won’t be a “lemon” unless it was abused by prior owners.
Oct 8, 2021 · For 2012 it was available as an option/package on the SE, SE V6, XLE, and XLE hybrid, and standard on the XLE V6. Plus even if they didn’t, Toyota often does wait a little longer to implement newer technologies so a) it’s more cost-effective and b) the quality is more established and reliable.
Sep 3, 2022 · Used 2012 hybrid Camry. I am looking at a 2012 Toyota Camry hybrid, 160k, clean title, inside and out is a little rough but it hasn’t been detailed yet, they are putting new tires on it and doing new fluid in A/C. They have it listed at 10,980 online.

The 2012 Camry doesn’t tell you. Just fill all of your tires to the recommended pressure and call it a day. The 2015 heavy refresh of this platform Camry got the direct Tpms vs indirect as seen here. Indirect tpms reads the sensor values of all 4 but hasn’t a clue what tire location it is.

The options are Passive Disabling Device, Alarm Only Or Active Disabling Device, or No Device. I know it has a device because the anti-theft light blinks until I start the car.
