Aug 31, 2019 · 9. One of the most common complaints about Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is that it is way too dark to see anything. I think most viewers will attest to this. My question is why is it that way? It actually affects how the film is interpreted, so I want to know why such a mistake was made. alien-franchise.

Humans go into the Pyramid (hive) and are confronted by Aliens and Predators (zombies and hive defenses), both movies do like the exact same thing with the 3D map of the facility they're in.

Jan 22, 2022 · ParticularIll1754. •. I don't know if you've had it answered but it was dark because it was the director duos first movie and first time with a large budget to work with. They wanted to keep the predator and aliens design mysterious so they chose to have it set in poor lighting.

Feb 15, 2023 · Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem. turn your brightness up and enjoy the grey lol. Wolf is literally the only reason to watch this movie. If someone made a fan-cut of this that removed every single scene with humans in it and kept only the scenes of Wolf and the Aliens then it would be immensely more fun to watch.

(58 minutes of footage removed altogether from both films) (Both films recut shot by shot, cut into one movie & colour graded. The first Darker to look like the original Alien Movies & the second Brightened.
Jul 8, 2017 · I wish I hated AVP requiem instead of Covenant but I don't. Can't blame folks that do dislike Requiem but.....for its budget and storytelling it was a box office success, I think. Where as Covenant was more about David/BladeRunner than Alien and had the dumbest humans ever portrayed in space with that size budget and it flopped. I hope Covenant ...
