The charity commission does England and Wales. There's a separate charity commission for Northern Ireland and then OSCR for Scotland. They don't quite fill the same niche as the Charity Navigator though, as they just list each charity separately, and you can't really compare or contrast which charities are paying their execs too much or whatever.

Sep 9, 2017 · Charity navigator helps fight against those types of things and gives people a way to choose top rated charities, ngo's, ingo's etc based off a given cause they wish to donate towards. Didn't mean to make it sound so terrible when sometimes, as you mention, travel, expenses, and materials will be kept separate from what is actually "given" to the people they are aiding.

Feb 25, 2022 · Charity Navigator and Not Forgotten. I saw the recent video on Not Forgotten and it’s an amazing charity. As I do before donating to any organization, I looked it up on Charity Navigator. I was pretty disappointed to see that they received a failing grade. However, I don’t think it’s because the organization is fundamentally flawed in anyway.

If you factor in these non-cash donations Wikimedia's expense ratio would be 0.4%, and Wikimedia would have Charity Navigator's highest possible rating.
