Jun 1, 2023 · Imgur has been unusable to me for years, and I don't know why. I can view the site in an incognito window, but not in a normal browser window. Even with all my browser extensions disabled and clearing cookies/cache it doesn't work, but it does when incognito. Doesn't make any sense.

If that doesn't work on the mobile website for whatever reason, then open the settings in your browser and force the desktop version of imgur to load, then try again. OP.
Feb 1, 2023 · Pixelfed: Is a federated photo/gif sharing application maybe it's more of an instagram alternative but worth a look. Also there's the alternative privacy friendly frontend for Imgur called Rimgo. Maybe could solve some of your issues with Imgur. There's also the self-hosted Picsur.

Jan 15, 2020 · The image icon will only take image links (something that ends on .jpg, jpeg, png, etc....) while the media icon is able to figure out the image link from an album imgur link. Try right clicking the actual image on imgur for the direct image link or copy the link given when clicking download image on imgur.
Apr 20, 2023 · They could have merged all unregistered images into one “Unregistered Imgur User” user account if they wanted to preserve it. Deleting is of course the easiest option, gets rid of a lot of content taking up space and removes any potentially objective or restricted content all in one go.
