The 2015 GE was so weird; the Lib Dems got punished for Tory policies and the Tories got praise and more seats for enacting Lib Dem policies. I also remember Ed Miliband constantly talking about an impending cost of living crisis.
Sep 22, 2024 · Laura obviously reads from a script and can't deviate from it. The Fayed question was obviously pre planned and just thrown in from nowhere. I'm sure she will have made notes but there certainly won't be a "script" and, like all interviewers, she will pick up on things that are said and question accordingly; ie deviate from the non-existant "script".

It was formally announced today that Laura Kuenssberg and Clive Myrie, with BBC political editor Chris Mason, will lead the BBC's coverage of the General Election. That's quite a demonstration from her bosses of approval and confidence in her professionalism. She probably feels, quite rightly, that she's having quite a good week so far.
