Dec 31, 2018 · Hi, it has come to my attention that kodi can't properly reproduce DRM'd content off the Microsoft Movies and TV source. I wonder if someone could develop a method to properly reproduce this content with kodi V18 without breaking any legalities. Thanks!
When Microsoft updates Movies & TV in may render the .exe file ineffective (if they rename this Microsoft.ZuneVideo_8wekyb3d8bbwe to something else) ... so I would need to create a new one.
Apr 4, 2018 · Hi, I often use the JustWatch web site to search on several VOD services, movies i want to watch. I don't use SVOD service like Netflix, i'm talking about "one-time fee" renting on service like Google Play Movies or Microsoft Movies & TV. What i would like is the ability to play these rented movies on Kodi : is it possible ?
Jun 24, 2018 · Kodi itself doesn't provide any kind of content itself. Some content is available through video add-ons from our repository. If you want to watch normal movies via Kodi, you have to purchase them, rip them, store them on the same machine you are using Kodi on (or a network share or whatever) and then use Kodi to play the specific files.

Oct 7, 2021 · However, when I play them using KODI on an Android TV device, they're rotated 90 derees for some reason. I might also add that they play correctly on the PC using Microsoft Windows apps such as Windows Media Player, Movies & TV, and Photos. However, other apps such as VLC, PLEX, and JRiver don't play them correctly.

I've been trying the latest KODI on my H.265 encoded HDR .mkv files and noticed that files look ungraded and colors are dull as if I'm watching it with app that doesn't know what to do with HDR files.
