Starhub Fibre TV -- using ONT2, which is a seperate network comapred to your normal Fibre Internet. It is a private Starhub network specificly for the Fibre TV users. Starhub TV+ box -- it is just a streaming TV box, which use the same network as your Fibre TV. They do have some VLAN stuff for things like MediaCorp FTA channles.

Starhub Website is very confusing --> 1) Main site is outdated, it still says you need to use Nokia Beacon 1 or Linksys EA8100v1 or Linksys EA7500v2 to access MediaCorp FTA channels for Starhub TV+ Box. It also says you have to use MeWatch to watch MediaCorp FTA channels if you use Starthub TV+ Pro Box.

Feb 8, 2022 · Short answer, yes. The Starhub routers (with their custom firmware) has the VLAN routes and configurations. The long answer, if you're prepared to jump through a few hoops and are comfortable configuring a managed switch with VLANs settings, set up multicast on VLAN1091 for the port where the Beacon will be connected.

After their software update, now must use TV controller to adjust volume instead of the standard starhub controller. Called Starhub service hotline, guy said don't know anything. Wth. This is rubbish. Terminate Starhub, use Youtube Premium cheaper and better.
