Presently I'm using wpkg (www.wpkg.org) for deployment of software (works fine) and AutoIt (www.autoitscript.com) for automation of answering setup questions in the Xilinx ISE installer, but AutoIt is not working well together with the ISE installer at all. Possibly because the ISE installer is not using the standard Windows GUI, but one of thier own.
Xilinx is a company, not software. Xilinx has no version. Xilinx ISE is software that is used for design of older FPGAs. Xilinx ISE 12.1 is a fairly old version of this software. Xilinx ISE14.7 is the newest version of ISE. For newer FPGAs (7 series and Ultrascale) use Vivado.
We installed successfully Xilinx ISE 10.1. Currently the program can run only as administrator. Our company policy implies the usage of software as regular non-admin users, which works fine for example with Xilinx 13. Is there any way to work this around.
