What is interesting, cloud saves (if a game uses epic cloud) will be uploaded to account currently being used, even if a game is not registered to current account (At least for some games, I just checked it for Alan Wake and Manifold garden). It's super convenient and generous, but this can cause some problems when use it without noticing account mismatch.

Jul 7, 2023 · I had the same problem and I can confirm that your epic account will be a different email to your psn account, even though your epic account is linked to your psn account. I could log in and play games on my old Ps4 using my psn log in. However, when I log in on epic pc using my psn log in credential, it then continued to ask for an email.
