Sep 8, 2020 · When I try to do this on "recent files" or my documents folder, a message in a panel flashes up saying that Microsoft Word Starter 2010 cannot be opened. I can't work out how to repair this - as the message instructs - via the Control Panel, and my online discussion with the Microsoft "helpline" has got me nowhere.
My computer has been doing weird things since crashing, like being slower than usual, but word has been working. I have windows 7. I have windows 7. This thread is locked.
