What I did was to copy text in the normal way - then placed the mouse cursor into the Whatsapp text box with a left click - I let go of the mouse then held down Ctrl on the keyboard, then pressed V on the keyboard just once and let go. Voila! Hope it works for you. I did the same.

Hello there, I recently noticed that whenever I open WhatsApp desktop app which was downloaded from Microsoft store, it automatically close after 2 seconds and then when I opened again, it closes again.
