Stadion Partizana was built on the site of the former BSK Stadium, home of OFK Beograd. Stadion Partizana officially opened on 9 October 1949 with an international between Yugoslavia and France (1-1), but it took until 1951 for it to be entirely completed and officially opened.

Stadion Parizana ima istorijsku i kulturnu vrednost kako za svoje navijače, tako i za građane cele Srbije. Izgradnja ovog stadiona trajala je od 1948. do 1951. godine, a prva zvanična utakmica se odigrala između tadašnje Jugoslavije i Francuske u oktobru 1949 godine.
