Connemara (/ ˌkɒnɪˈmɑːrə / KON-ih-MAR-ə; Irish: Conamara [ˌkʊnˠəˈmˠaɾˠə]) [1] is a region on the Atlantic coast of western County Galway, in the west of Ireland.
