Aug 30, 2024 · Changes to the floor edge could be very important for newly designed tunnels and their stability in adverse conditions. Or cutting off a piece means they want to avoid mechanical floor sealing at high roll due to less stiff rear axle. Big changes in any case, looks like their direction will evolve further with 2025 car.
Sep 21, 2024 · Re: Ferrari SF-24. The transition tip of the 4th flap (mid span) is seriously cranked up, leaves an impression of a section that might get substantial local separation but it's highly unlikely. There might be some cross flow there, inwash on the bottom and outwash on top.
Aug 29, 2024 · Obviously suspension rising rates and damping play a crucial role here but it is ultimately an aero issue. And fixing it—because not evident in WT, etc.—is an analytical exercise.
