St Helier (/ ˈ h ɛ l i ər /; Jèrriais: Saint Hélyi; French: Saint-Hélier) is the capital of Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands in the English Channel. St Helier has a population of 35,822 – over one-third of the total population of Jersey – and is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey.

The centre of St Helier is also only a 10 minute walk to two excellent beaches - Havre Des Pas offers a Victorian seaside promenade with a safe natural bathing pool, and sweeping St Aubin’s Bay leads all the way to St Aubin’s Harbour to the west.
