Go to aka.ms/accountrecovery. 2. Enter the account you want to recover, email address you have access to, and enter the CAPTCHA and select Next. 3. Enter the code sent via the email you provided and select Verify. 4. Enter your account recovery information and select Next. 5. If approved, you'll get a link to reset your password.

I consider myself a patient man but I had to ask myself why am I solving the human verification puzzle for a 20th time. So far this question seems to have been asked many times in Microsoft support forums. I haven't seen a satisfactory answer.
Dec 17, 2021 · Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community. I understand from your description that we are stuck at the "not a robot" puzzle. Microsoft set the puzzle unused emails or auto-applied extensions. We created a new account to test this situation and through the puzzle normally. You may please try more slope image to test it.

Feb 17, 2021 · When I go to Setting > Account > Your Info and select "Sign in whit a Microsoft account instead" a grey "Microsoft account" window pops up and closes instantly, before I can click/confirm anything on the window. This also happens in the Microsoft Store- I choose an account to sign in to, click Continue, and a grey window will appear and vanish without logging me in.
