The two companies are pleased to announce the formation of two joint ventures for the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) project, part of the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) in Johor. Saudi Aramco will supply 50 per cent of the refinery's crude feedstock and natural gas, while PETRONAS will supply utilities and offtake the production. The project is on track for refinery start-up in Q1 2019.
